FINE Particles - Technology, Environment and Health 2002-2005

The main objective of the technology programme is to utilise the strong existing Finnish know how on research at the international level, high technological and scientific competence, interdisclipinary approach and networking.

The main areas of the programme are:

• emissions of energy production and industry
• emissions of traffic and traffic equipment
• measuring instruments, measuring
• buildings, indoor air
• health, environmental impacts

A new call for funding for projects of research institutes will be arranged by Tekes towards the end of 2004. Applications for funding for projects of business enterprises are accepted continuously by Tekes.
